I'm Gabrial Szakal and welcome to my online portfolio. I've been designing professinally for 5 years and I'm entirely self taught. Everything you see here is done using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. So far my experience has been freelance and all of my work has been referral based from satisfied clients. I'm creative, versatile and excel at understanding my clients' design preferences while turning around projects lightning fast.

I've been an artist as long as I can remember. I started drawing as a child and have dabbled in painting, photography, videography and film production and also spent several years expressing myself artistically as a graffiti artist and muralist. My artistic nature doesn't stop there. I'm a music lover at heart and have worked in and around the music industry for most of my professional career. I'm also a fairly well known DJ in Detroit and abroad. That is why a great deal of my work is in the music promotions industry. I've managed to carve out a niche there and it has become a bit of a specialty. However I do not limit myself to my niche and enjoy working on a vast variety of design projects.
